Colombian Imaging participated in ENO-CANCOA 2024

Colombian Imaging Technologies S.A.S. participated in the ENO-CANCOA 2024 Congress, held at the Technological University of Bolivar (UTB), presenting developments in the manufacture of synthetic holograms by means of optical microlithography.

The event highlighted applications of the Firefly® Research Edition system, used to record high-resolution holograms on photosensitive materials. Firefly® is a registered trademark of Combustión Ingenieros S.A.S.

The participation reaffirms the company’s commitment to applied research and innovation in optics and photonics.

Hologramas sociales- hologramas generativos, is a holographic volume installation by the artist Diego Aguilar exhibited within the framework of SLAM (network of teachers in art and technology in Latin America). The holographic images of volume, show faces and figures that indicate death (faces and body fragments), accompanied and interspersed with images of bodies in positions of social manifestation. These holograms are supported by sculptural objects in the form of a beehive, which, when assembled, can be added together and continue to grow from their condition of hexagonal monoliths. Made in reflection holography, in the laboratories of Combustión Ingenieros SAS .
